Me and my buds were "critiquing" the official art for Blazblue Chrono Phantasma last night, and the subject of how Valkenhayn is drawn like a "wrinklebeast" came up. So I decided to take a whack at him myself. He's not my most or least favorite character, but what the hey.
I always like older characters, both conceptually and artistically. I'm sick of the high school setting in SOOO much anime, and the older characters tend to be less annoying and more, well, badass. At the very least try making more shows about COLLEGE students. Also it's fun to draw their wrinkles and make them "distinguished".
